I am taking 7 classes this year - 2 advanced, 4 intermediate and one elementary. I'm only a beginner, so am sure the advanced classes will be quite spectacularly out of my depth. I haven't had the chance to study that form properly yet and I would really love to. I tried a workshop once and we 'messed about/improv'd' a bit to Alegrias. It was a lot of fun. That music and dance always makes me smile. Is Bambera similar to any other form (Rumba? Bulerias?)? What kind of palos are you studying this year? I will definitely be re-taking Caracoles (fan), Tangos and Sevillanas/Classical and castanets. Not sure about other classes yet, but there's lots of exciting stuff to choose from - Guarjira, advanced Tangos, advanced Bulerias etc. If only I were competent enough to take the higher level classes. I'm absolutely dying to attempt a more advanced Bulerias (it's one of my favorite palos). Can't wait for September!
